We pulled out of St. John's Newfoundland on October the sixth. We'd meandered over from British Columbia during three fantastic months. If we were to take the same time going back we'd hit the Rockies at the end of December. Not a smart thing on a motorcycle!

Yes, that's right. This chap hauled us over outside of Kenora and was quite concerned by our velocity. He explained the deer population in the area was quite prolific and confided that he didn't like to be called out on fatals. We listened attentively and when he finished we shared our own story. He started to smile and when we were finished he shook our hands and wished us a safe trip back home. A class act, no doubt about it and great PR for the OPP!!
